Hi there I am one of the WeFi team - thank you for taking notice of WeFi. WeFi is definitely NOT an extension of Plazes - WeFi is a simple tool that helps you get quickly and effortlessly connected to wireless network (wifi) wherever you are, from your laptop, Mac, WIndows Mobile or Nokia phone. The cool thing is that if you want to chare your location with your friends (or just get a chace to spontanously meet people who get online around you) you can automatically see WHERE your friends get connected, if they too are using the WeFi software. You can see them online on web maps, you cen see them on the WeFi software (withouth even opening a web browser) and you can also see them on Facebook (through the applicaiton http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=7582558083&b&ref=pd)
We'll be happy if you take a closer look at WeFi - check it out at http://WeFi.com and tell us what you think.
We also write many things about the WiFi trends in the world - check out http://wefi.com/blog/
This site is really useful for saving info I'll need later. It's not a blog - just a notepad for things that interest me.
Of course any actual opinions are all my own - not my employers.
