One of the main features of Notes 8 is the composite applications. This allows mutliple apps, not all Notes apps, to be combined together as a mashup and delivered as a single application to the Notes desktop.

Sandbox - composite app
The app is based upon sales lead management. There is no development required to get this up and running. Just follow the included instructions.
When placing some of the files in the Notes data directory the instruction is to place the files in the root data directory - I chose to place the files in a subdirectory such as notes\data\compapp
