Although Quickr there is not a publicly available demonstration server for Quickr just yet... there are a few online demonstration movies or screencams available.
Luis Suarez has made one available online here , and offline here.
Additionally Rob Novak and his team are responsible for some amazing free (open source?) templates for Quickr which provide a load of really cool functionality. A couple of them are demonstrated online, namely the QPresent and QPhotos.
Further online demos of Lotus software are available here, including Notes 8, Quickr, ActiveInsight, Domain Monitoring, and DWA.

Migrating notes apps to Linux desktop
Once I had setup Notes 8 on Linux using the new Open client - the next step was to copy across the multiple nsf that I had on my windows Notes client.
I simply copied them across using a usb disk drive.
Once they were safely on my Linux disk I ran "chmod 664 *.nsf" in a terminal to set the permissions correctly
Nicely done
